I started really paying attention to footwear when I was 17. I was playing Varsity basketball at my high school, and the AJ XIX dropped a few months earlier. One could say now, that them going for 100 bucks on the sales rack was an easy cop. But my money wasnt that nice yet. I needed some dope kicks that I can ball in and still rep nicely for my team. I worked at a mall 20 minutes outside of Philly. I knew people. I knew the right people. My man hooked my up with some 94 Barkleys, half price. Them CB34s were the truth. Nice fit, easy to roc on and off court, if i decided to...I balled hard. Played rough. My kicks took a beaten. After that year, I graduated and took a year off from school. My barkleys were long gone, but not forgotten. I cop two more pairs that new year. Soon enough I was rocking all the colors, and needed more. I was still working at the mall, and was asst. manager at the time. It feIt like every check went into my footwear. It was fun to have an arsenal of kicks at my desposal...Everything started with the 94 CB34s...
